THE COLLECTIVE

Our Story

Two Sisters Collective was born from a simple belief:

Small towns deserve great music, meaningful art, and cultural experiences that bring people together.

What started as a vision for an intimate gathering space on the courthouse square in Scottsboro, Alabama has quickly grown into something much bigger — a grassroots movement centered around music, storytelling, community, and the arts throughout Jackson County and Northeast Alabama.

We believe culture matters everywhere — not just in major cities.

In communities like ours, music has always been part of the fabric of life. Songs, stories, traditions, and shared experiences connect generations and create a sense of place. Yet too often, rural communities are overlooked when it comes to arts investment, creative opportunities, and cultural spaces.

Two Sisters Collective exists to help change that.

Our mission is simple:

“To support the arts, strengthen community, and create cultural experiences.”

Through live music, educational programming, artist support, community events, and creative partnerships, we are working to build a space where artists can be heard, people can gather, and meaningful experiences can happen close to home.

At the heart of this vision is Two Sisters Square — an intimate outdoor listening space located in the heart of downtown Scottsboro. What began as a dream to create a welcoming place for community has become a gathering place for songwriters, musicians, families, visitors, and supporters from across the region.

But this is about more than concerts.

We believe the arts can strengthen local communities, support small businesses, inspire future generations, and help revitalize rural spaces in meaningful ways. We believe music and storytelling have the power to unite people from all walks of life.

Most importantly, we believe Northeast Alabama deserves a thriving cultural future.

Two Sisters Collective is currently in the process of finalizing federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status as we continue building partnerships, programming, and long-term opportunities for our region.

This organization is being built by people who care deeply about this community — artists, volunteers, local businesses, supporters, and everyday people who believe small towns can create extraordinary things together.

The seeds have been planted. The roots are growing. And we believe something special is beginning to bloom.

Thank you for being part of the story.
